Reverend Rosalind K. Shorter Henderson is a born again holy ghost filled Christian who loves the Lord and wants to be used by Him to magnify His name. She is an anointed preacher, gifted teacher, and workshop facilitator. She is an ordained itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church.
God has allowed her to be the proud pastor of Miller Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church since April 2008. She encourages all members to “talk to everyone who has skin” to awaken them to the merits of Christ and Miller Chapel. Her ministry places a high focus on Prayer, Faith, and Spiritual Growth. It is Reverend Henderson’s desire to help others see the God given talent they have and encourage them to use their gifts to build up the Kingdom of God. Reverend Henderson yields to the Holy Spirit in order to lead God’s people into a supernatural movement of God.
Reverend Henderson is a graduate of the University of Illinois in Champaign/Urbana with a B.S. degree in Math and Computer Science.She has a M.S. degree in Telecommunications from DePaul University.Reverend Henderson received her Master of Divinity from Northern Theological Seminary.
Reverend Henderson is blessed to have a wonderful husband Michael Henderson who is anointed to serve God with all his heart and soul. God blessed their union with two lovely sons Michael Alexander Henderson and Jordan Wesley Henderson.
